EHS Leaders Dialogue

The Denver, Colorado office of ARCADIS, in partnership with Equinox Consultancy LLC, has initiated a series of quarterly dialogues that focus on current issues facing EHS directors, managers and other related professionals. Equinox facilitates the EHS Leaders Dialogue, which serves as a forum for knowledge building that supports an open exchange among business professionals and helps expand a group’s collective knowledge and awareness.

Each dialogue focuses on current business trends and issues in EHS and promotes strategic thinking and peer-to-peer learning that reinforces best practices and fosters innovation. Participants of the EHS Leaders Dialogue uncover fresh approaches, or ‘benchmark’ as a result of it, which invigorates and raises organizational strategies to a new level.

The first EHS Leaders Dialogue session, held in March 2005, focused on the value of EHS management systems have or have not brought to their organizations. Fourteen people attended the dialogue including representatives from Coors Brewing, Lockheed Martin, Kinder Morgan, Agilent Technologies, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, city of Aurora, U.S. EPA, Gambro BCT and ARCADIS.

The second EHS Leaders Dialogue session, held in June 2005, focused on the challenge of integrating sustainability and EHS management systems. Representatives from the following companies attended: Lockheed Martin, DaimlerChrysler, Coors Brewing, Ball Corporation, Agilent Technologies, U.S. EPA, Kinder Morgan and ARCADIS.

ARCADIS will be offering similar Dialogue sessions in other parts of the U.S. in the near future.
